Help! We have been wracking our brains trying to figure out this question. What is the candy bar that was sold years ago that was made from braided caramel dipped in chocolate? Help!

Uh-oh. The Boomers enter the dreaded Forgetful Years. Mars's Marathon bars only melted away 18 years ago, not exactly ancient history. They sold the eight-inch-long Marathons from 1973 to 1981, but they didn't sell enough of them to keep them on the market.
