Jean Isaacs starts off the New Year by resetting her iconic "A Geography of Risk" (2002). Inspired by travel guidebooks and hailed by The Village Voice as "a little masterpiece," this piece is full of humor and passion and features text by Garrison Keillor.
Also featured will be the world premiere of the full-length "Requiem for an Ocean." On display will be set design and artwork by local sculptor Arline Fisch with original text performed by Meagan Marshall. Rounding out the evening’s performances will be a new work created by Katie Stevenson-Nollet especially for company dancer Blythe Barton that embraces memory and the wonder of marriage and love.
