Latino Americans is the first major documentary series for TV to chronicle the history of Latinos in the U.S. This episode shows how two colonial systems produced contrasting societies that would eventually come into conflict.
Professor Justin Akers from San Diego City College will facilitate a discussion after the screening, which takes place in the Neil Morgan auditorium (ground floor). Made possible through a grant from the National Endowment for the Humanities and the American Library Association.
