People in the Omo Valley of Ethiopia believed that some children are cursed or “mingi”, bringing disease, drought, or death to the tribe. Mingi children are killed or left to die. This film follows Lale over five years as he returns to his village and attempts to end this practice. Lale and John Rowe, the director, will speak after the film. Benefit for the IRC in San Diego.
