Why Has Peace Become So Elusive?
Sheppard Mullin, 12275 El Camino Real #200, Carmel Valley 92130
Cost: $10 - $30
For two decades, Israel has engaged in endless negotiations to reach peace with Syria and the Palestinians, but without success. This lecture demonstrates how the Arab-Israeli conflict is actually part of a much larger global trend: although historically the vast majority of wars ended in peace treaties, very few conflicts now do so. The lecture explains this phenomenon and what it means for the Arab-Israel conflict.
