Plant Sale at Southwestern College
The Landscape and Nursery Technology Department of Southwestern College and the South Bay Botanic Garden host their fall plant sale. Located in the parking lot off of 900 Otay Lakes Road south of H Street.
The LNT Department and the South Bay Botanic Garden students and volunteers have been propagating plants all year for this event. Many plants will be available from ornamentals to edibles. Most plants sell for the low price of $5 per gallon.
You will find succulents, native plants, edibles such as passion fruit, bananas, and pomegranates, milkweed plants to attract the monarch butterflies and host monarch caterpillars, and other flowering plants that will attract other butterflies to your garden. You will find garden art and arrangements including sea shells with succulent arrangements and driftwood.
