Ruth Reichl wrote her first cookbook at 21 and went on to become the restaurant critic of both the Los Angeles Times and the New York Times. She was editor-in-chief of Gourmet Magazine for ten years. She is the author of several bestselling books, including Tender at the Bone, Comfort Me With Apples, and Garlic and Sapphires. She has been honored with six James Beard Awards and lectures frequently on food and culture.
In addition to books, we will be selling specialty pantry items at our new Good Earth/Great Chefs pop-up pantry. We are also delighted to have bluegrass band Prairie Sky performing at this event.
