The San Diego Independent Scholars present a lecture by two awardees of the organization's Hawkings Grants.
Members Diana Withee and Michael Seidel will describe the results of their research.
Withee's lecture concerns the patronage of the 16th-century Dutch painter Hieronymous Bosch and Seidel's concerns his ancestral families' stories which reflect economic and social conditions in 19th-century Germany.
