Mardi Gras in Santee
A rollicking evening of New Orleans-style festivities including the award-winning Bayou Brothers band, Cajun/Creole dinner feast, masks and beads, prizes drawings, silent auction, and thousands of dollars in prizes.
East County Magazine and the Bayou Brothers invite you to an East County Mardi Gras party. The event benefits nonprofit community journalism and wildfire/emergency alerts.
Prizes include a Solidbody Guitar ($3800 value) by the world famous Taylor Guitars, tickets to Lions Tigers and Bears “Wild in the Country” gala, private tour of the California Wolf Preserve in Julian, Hawaii resort stay, a performance by the Bayou Brothers at your next event, golf rounds and lessons at Cottonwood Golf, dance lessons at Rubio’s studio, dog lover’s basket from Camp Bow Wow, “staycation” at Santee Lakes, gourmet wine donated by wine judge Brad Bruce, wine tasting at San Pasqual Winery, dinners, art, jewelry, music CDs, hiking gear, and more.
