Blythe Barton Dance presents BODYlogue: Taking Space.

Blythe Barton has been a choreographer in San Diego for the past six years and this summer she will present her company, Blythe Barton Dance, in its highest level professional dance concert with large-scale, dynamic choreography. BODYlogue: Taking Space will include several Blythe Barton Dance favorites as well as new choreography.

Blythe Barton's dances are known for dynamic, physical weight shifts, gestures and expressions that tell stories of human nature, and perceptible momentum that sends dancers traveling through space.

This concert is made possible by public support through a Kickstarter campaign. Blythe Barton Dance raised nearly $14,000 in contributions to fund this concert. The goal of $10,000 was met in just two and a half weeks.

Blythe Barton Dance has handpicked an ensemble of talented San Diego dancers. These professionals meet the company's aesthetic for powerful and dynamic bodies that have the strength and stamina required to perform the intricate and demanding choreography.
