Lost in Yonkers: Artist Reception
The lobby of The Brooks Theatre will be hosting an interpretational fine art exhibit in conjunction with its production of Neil Simon’s Pulitzer Prize winning play, Lost in Yonkers.
The artists will be interpreting their version of the play’s theme: a chaotic, disrupted, and unconventional family viewed through the eyes of the young protagonist and his brother in Yonkers during WWII.
Featured artists include Diana Carey, Ellen Dieter, Stan Gafner, John Dunn, Lisa Bebi, Ursula Schroter, and Cathie Joy Young. The fine-art exhibit will run concurrently with the play from May 16 through June 1. The lobby will be open for viewing the paintings during posted hours, on Thursdays, on weekends throughout the run of the play, and by appointment.
