Aquaponics Workshop
EcoLife, 350 State Place, Escondido 92029
Cost: $40
Aquaponics is the symbiotic growing of plants and fish in a re-circulating environment. Water is cycled between the fish tanks and vegetable growing areas and fish waste acts as a natural fertilizer for the crops. Uses 90% less land and water than conventional gardening.
Learn the different aquaponic methods, filtration, and water flow; basic parts, supplies, and best fish to use; and what it takes to maintain an aquaponic system. You will walk away with a list of resources to build your own system.
$10 discount for teachers and students.
