The Institute for International, Comparative and Area Studies presents:
Philip Keefer, of The World Bank, who will speak on Media Access and Clientelism: The Effects of Community Radio Access on Citizen Preferences for Clientelist Political Promises. Keefer and co-author Stuti Khemani (The World Bank) present the first analysis linking an exogenous measure of media access with the valuation that voters place on non-clientelist public policies and clientelist political preferences.
