The afternoon starts with a behind-the-counter look at the cheese shop. Then participants hop in a van and nibble some fresh cheese sandwiches on the drive up to Konyn Dairy in Escondido for the afternoon milking of nearly 800 happy Holstein cows. Includes a behind-the-scenes tour of the grounds of this working dairy farm. Next stop: Orfila Vineyards for a tour of the vineyard and the wine making facility, plus a complete wine and cheese tasting party at sunset.
