Ash Wednesday Services

Ash Wednesday introduces the 40-day solemn season of Len: time of reflection, repentance, and resolve. The imposition of ashes on Ash Wednesday is an ancient practice and a reminder that “we are dust, and to dust we shall return.” February 22: 7:30am–Imposition of Ashes in the Chapel. 12:00pm–Holy Eucharist and Imposition of Ashes, hymns and music. 6:00pm–Liturgia de Miercoles de Ceniza, in the Cathedral (Spanish). 7:30pm–Holy Eucharist and Imposition of Ashes, with the Choir
