Background:
In 1983, singer Michael-roy Liegel was the front man for Tony Diamond’s band Black Diamond. Looking to write his own songs, he started Street Liegel. In the following years, Street Liegel would go through many different looks and member changes, but the one constant was Michael-roy. The band played all over Southern California, from Straita Head Sound and Rogo’s in San Diego to the Whiskey and Gazzarri’s in Los Angeles.
The group reunited for an April 2010 performance at 4th & B.
