Background:

Sergio Gutierrez moved from New Mexico to California in 2007, originally accompanied by the other members of his ’80s style metal band Axson. After a stint in Hollywood, paying to play in clubs along Sunset Strip, Gutierrez watched his bandmates fall away into other endeavors, leaving him the sole remaining member. Now living in San Diego, he works by day as a diamond grater.
