Background:

Said to be inspired by the religion known as Eckankar, Baptism of Thieves is a performance art group founded by Rafael Reyes, former operator of the downtown Mexican restaurant Pokéz. The group, which made its live debut in May 2012, also includes Ian Heresy Døsland (guitar) and Lord Mykil Zep (drums).
