Is it sketchy?

Alright. I go to bars in PB. ALL THE TIME. I live here, it's my duty. Keep the local economy. I can't help it but something happens -everytime- i go out on my bicycle.

Tonight was no different! A fun filled tuesday night colliding into criss-crossing groups of friends celebrating everything from birthdays and going away parties to sports and lunar non-eclipses.

I see something strange on my way back. The typical two homies walking in the cut (the shade of darkness) asking me if I have any 'cigs'. Of course not, I don't smoke. These guys seem sketch. One has a flashlight. What are they doing walking around in the dark on a tuesday at midnight? I gotta stick around and watch.

FYI this was around a complex near Grand and Dawes. I chilled out behind a parked SUV and watched what they were up to. They were snooping around the complex with their flashlight checking doors, checking stairways... It was worth observation. They suddenly skattered when two girls came clanking [read: in their heels] down the sidewalk.

I quickly rode up to see where they disappeared to down the alley, and there they stood. The two girls then approached me after recognizing me from a bar earlier. We talked a bit, and after that the two men had scattered down the alley and I didn't bother chasing.

These shady characters are everywhere. If you see something, don't approach them ever for your own safety. Simply bear witness.
