Ive been there twice. I should go tomorrow and leave it first thing, pick it up at lunch. My car is disgusting. It is a dog car, I've got two crates in the back, a little esky for keeping my water from boiling, and a plastic bin with necessities- umbrellas, Kleenex, dog treats, spare flashlight a magazine or two, and about 20 reusable bags.
They've painted it I see, maybe a new owner, and cleverly added a new service- a dog wash! If I had a car wash in that neighborhood I'd do it too. So many of the street people have dogs these days. I'm guessing here in San diego they've discovered than dogs bring cash from passers by, better than a clever plea on a random piece of cardboard.
Kurtz and whatever that street is that Rosecrans turns into when you hit 8 east.
yesterday musician clipper ship artist commented that the polar ice cap was melting. Today nice man with white beard wearing blue, last week it was red. Two guys commented on my way to the station this afternoon- hi beautiful, hi gorgeous. I smile, they nod we continue on our opposite journeys.
