C.R.E.A.M.: A Monetary Art Exhibition
Cash rules everything and is needed to buy things we want. The things from stores to transportation to food and drink all cost dollar bills y’all. “Cash Rules Everything Around Me,” states the song by Wu-Tang Clan. The song provides the background for “C.R.E.A.M.: A Monetary Art Exhibition,” curated by Thumbprint Gallery in La Jolla, will feature art about money and the ways it is used, abused, and gained in the world today. The event will be at Bar BASIC in downtown on Tuesday, May 28.
The event starts at 7pm and runs until 12am on Tuesday, May 28. Bar BASIC is located at 410 Tenth Avenue in downtown, San Diego. Jewelry by Friendly Feather Shop will be at the event. There will also be live art produced by True Delorenzo, David Goff, Sharif I. Carter, Arek. There is no dress code and no cover. However, you must be at least 21 years old to attend.
