Man my sister just married a man she barely knew in march of this year. This is becomming such a common thing to do now a days...people fall "in love" so quickly some for the right reasons and then there are the few and slick that marry for alll the WRONG reasons. After two months she has been completely cut off from her husband and all their back pay for BAH is missing...yeah right! I gave my sister her husband's CO'S number and she called and had things straightened out. Thank god I could help her at least get what she needs before things go south with them. I am just wondering if he just married her for the benifits...I am definitely leaning that way.

Well, my daughter met a guy in the Navy in a club downtown. He took her on one date here in San Diego before deploying. He was stationed at Pearl Harbor. They stayed in contact through e-mail and the phone for about a year. And then in 2008, my lovely parents, who by the way were grandparents when their daughter was 17, gave MY daughter a plane ticket for Christmas to visit him where he's stationed at Pearl Harbor.

She was living with them (Didn't like my rules, loved theirs) and flew out behind my back. Actually, my mother called to tell me she was leaving the night before she left. I didn't know this guy and my daughter has had a few psychiatric problems so this, I'll tell you, was NOT good news.

I later found out he didn't have a place for them to stay. They tried to stay with friends but each time, the superiors found out and they had to leave the house. One friend threw them out himself.

She came back to the mainland, only to fly over to Hawaii again to marry this guy on the day Michael Jackson died, June 25, 2009. Again, my mother informed me of the plan the night before my daughter left.

I got a chance to get to know my son-in-law, and I absolutely adore him. He's a bit immature, but he's cute and charming and sometimes I like him better than I like my daughter. He refers to himself as "your sailor son." So far, he's the son I always wanted.

So let's hope your sister fairs as well, and that you are just doing your duty as a protective brother. When I met Cory, I started to believe there was a God and I thank that God for him.

s a God and I thank that God for him.
