swallowed me whole , head to toe .

offering a chance

an opportunity

telling me to leave

get away - before one of us get hurt

i couldn't

see through that window -

carnival sights sounds

all around

boxed up like chinese take out

delivered

consumed .

i couldn't

decide

who lied - more .

struggles made it feel right

minds captured

twisted

anguished

by a love sickness

my body bound

addicted

wanting more savory sweet

always wanting

more

until

i couldn't
