San Diegans with Afro puffs
I was at work and passed this magazine as I often do, but this time I was compelled to actually pick it up because of the cute little black girl on the cover. Upon closer inspection, was the caption on how everyone likes black guys (including black men), but no one likes black girls. My first thought was Yeah right! As a black woman I've dated NOTHING but white and hispanic guys my whole life! And have an adorable 16 month old son by a white man. I posted a picture of the cover on my facebook page and a LOT of my friends (black, white, male & female) were shocked and pissed to say the least. But that's only one issue. After seeing that bs I figured reading the article would give me some insight as to why that was written on the cover. Boy was I wrong. The article couldn't have been any farther in left field from the cover caption and picture!!! This article and cover picture was an ignorant attempt to get more people to pick up your magazine. Yes, it worked. A**hole.— July 19, 2012 11:29 a.m.
