Dig a Hole: Ben Gazzara
Verklempt: Gena Rowlands quoted: Rowlands, who was married to Cassavetes, recalled in 1998 in The [LA]Times: "John and Benny had a great artistic understanding, and I think Benny was relieved to find someone like John, who took things as seriously as he did." "It breaks my heart to have this era come to an end," Rowlands said in a statement that referred to the deaths of Cassavetes in 1989, Falk last year and now Gazzara. "Ben meant so much to all of us. To our families. To John. To Peter. To have them gone now is devastating to me."— February 5, 2012 1:04 p.m.
Review: Big Miracle
Alls I know is for formula kid fare, I wasn't able to sneak my nap in 'cause of the giggles. It looked like all the actors were having a good time.— February 4, 2012 12:44 p.m.
Review: Big Miracle
What a pleasant surprise. This had the feel of some of those 60's comedies like "The Russians are Coming" etc. with broad characters and a good pace. Great movie for parents and kids, everyone I was with ages 9 on up loved it. I know its got some tough competition this weekend, but I hope it catches on.— February 4, 2012 8:39 a.m.

Just saw the Kraft Television Theater's adaptation of Polanski's Carnage with at least 3 if not 4 memorable performances for Best Acting. Jodie Foster was especially good. Denied, denied, denied, denied.— January 25, 2012 9:09 a.m.
