Koch brothers money and the California elections
Please understand via Redevelopment, when it was going on here by CA government (Gov.Wilson-Schwatzenegger), had the City of San Diego obligated to near 1 Billion dollar$ in outstanding debt at one time. Those debts were regularly increased and rarely ever paid off! It is better for business friends, those who issue bonds, insure, and finance projects, to keep the terms for bonds and redevelopment districts to last long beyond their legal mandate. This way they may need to increase funds, lengthen term for bonds/district and keep control of projects and funds! It is all about getting funds to friends, like LiMandri of Little Italy. The list of those funded included many many former council members, and committee members! Like federal ambassadors, this is local slush fund organizing Sincerely yours, [email protected] [email protected]— February 26, 2014 1:36 p.m.
Meaty matter
Rep. Vargas has "family" events because his "family": wife are on controlling board of the San Diego Foundation Staff and use his "family" influence to what the public and constituents read via the Voice of San Diego, which is not only housed in the same building as the San Diego Foundation, but gets lots of funding from that organization! Please report these truths! Vargas has long time aligned with big business (SDG&E) who have big business involvement in Mexico! (SDG&E via SEMPRA mother corp). Vargas uses his cross border connections, his local business connections [like Jacobs & others) to promote business influence on our local sector, that many time cost us taxpayers via tax credits/subsidies. PLEASE NOTE HIS CAMPAIGN TOOK FOREIGN FUNDING!!! AND THAT HE DIDN'T return until he got caught, and IT IS ILLEGAL FOR HIM & OTHER CANDIDATES TO KEEP!! This is a red-herring issue. The media needs this to be known, CANDIDATES CAN NOT KEEP ILLEGAL FUNDS! and they should be fined AND SENT TO JAIL for breaking campaign laws/fundraising rules, because most have been in campaigns for many many decades. Sincerely yours, [email protected] former SD City council candidate, citizen, constituent & voter!— February 26, 2014 1:17 p.m.
Improper payment for Barrio Logan maintenance district?
LiMandri has been a cheat for decades NOW! He has been on the city dole for many many years now! He has long time been involved with Little Italy, and was involved in other areas like Mid-City areas. He and his friends like mayor elect Faulconer have been giving him political and city funds for many years. His organizations are never held accountable, and rarely do we see reports or proof that work has been done. It is another scam of the local political system to continue to give tax payer funds to political/business friends & associates over constituent needs and desires. Shame on LiMandri, shame on Faulconer for continuing to support this unproven and non majority of constituent voted for projects and taxing organizations! Sincerely yours, [email protected] former SD council candidate, ex North Park elected representative LLMD, committee to start 1st Solar Streetlights in SoCal, first bio-diesel co-op, homeless & affordable housing advocate. VOTER and constituent.— February 26, 2014 12:57 p.m.
Sweetwater district corruption trial postponed
Well who's looking into Juan Vargas and his wifes' connection to the SD foundation and news reporting and political menuevoring in San Diego politics!???! Congressman Vargas suggesting he'll not use the funds collected is b.s., HE CAN'T because they are illegally collected funds!!! But why did he put the "bag man" up for a presidential appointed position?? South bay politicians are the dirtiest of all SD politicians! And Juan Vargas has long been friends with most of them!! At least Filner didn't take foreign cartel funds for political exchange!!! Also this is so funny because Vargas used to be a pawn for SDG&E as an employee, then push man on SD City Council!!— January 25, 2014 6:05 p.m.
