Project From Hell Public Meeting Update ...SAVE THE DATE: Wednesday 6/26 @ 6pm The City of SD has finally arranged a Community Meeting for us to discuss this $3.8M boondoggle sewer repair project, that took 1 year to complete (mainly on 33rd St & Meade Ave). WHEN: Wednesday June 26th @ 6pm WHERE: Christ United Methodist Church @ 3295 Meade Ave, Sd 92116 (corner of 33rd St. & Meade Ave) WHAT: Public Meeting to discuss City of SD Sewer Group # 767 Project (Meade Ave & 33rd Street sewer repair) The City of SD Field Engineering reps and Cass Construction (contractor) will be available for Q & A from residents. This project was plagued by lapses in assessment, planning, implementation, supervision, and communication. In a word HORRIBLE. We want to hear what the "Lessons Learned" are from this project, and what the City of SD & Cass Construction will do to improve their performance and customer service in the next neighborhood that they land in. It was a year long Polish Fire Drill, and we don't want any other neighborhood to have to go through this same mess. Optional RSVP to City of SD @ http://events.constantcontact.com/register/event?… (be advised that you will need to provide name & email address if you RSVP) Please join us and support fellow taxpayers & the neighborhood. It looks like we will have about 30+ residents attending. The more the merrier! Save the date and bring a friend~ **Also posting to City Heights, Kensington, North Park since local residents & commuters were also impacted by the year long construction & endless detours. http://sandiegoreader.com/users/photos/2013/jun/1…
