Wow, awesome Deez! Well done! Now I do not know Seth Coombs. I've never met him, nor have I ever heard him perform. I assume that he is one of the local San Diegans who has taken on the responsibility of critiquing other musicians in this town. Well, everybody is entitled to an opinion and Coombs has expressed his. I would assume that what he is saying is without malice.
My advice to the public is to come out and support LIVE entertainment in San Diego. Be your own critic. You know what you like and don't like. Just because someone plays an instrument and writes for a publication does not make them an accurate reviewer. They are merely expressing an opinion that some publication puts in print.
Remember, as a performer, you’re putting yourself out there and you will receive both accolades and criticisms. I applaud ALL those who make an honest effort to develop their talent and are willing to put it out there for the public to enjoy. I can truly say that San Diego is full of I.T. – INCREDIBLE TALENT! This is just one person’s opinion – nothing more.
