"Geometry Playground," with more than 20 exhibits offering "playful investigations of the most visible branch of math," continues through Sunday, June 3.
“Grossology: The (Impolite) Science Of the Human Body” "Explore why your body produces mushy, oozy, crusty, scaly and stinky gunk" in exhibit based on the best-selling book Grossology. Highlights include “Tour du Nose,” "Burp Machine," and “Urine: The Game.” Opens Saturday, May 26, and runs through January 1.
Ongoing exhibits include "Cellular Journey," seeking to "expand visitor knowledge and appreciation of human cell biology, the importance of stem cells and the potential impact of stem cells on medical research in the fields of regenerative and personalized medicine." See "Blockbusters," "So WATT! An Illuminating Look at Energy," "Aging for All Ages," "Kid City" (for preschoolers). Museum features more than 100 hands-on science exhibitions. Films shown daily in IMAX Dome theater. The digital planetarium show “Secret of the Cardboard Rocket” introduces kids to the solar system, helps them learn what a planet is, how the planets differ from one another, and why Earth is a special place (Saturdays and Sundays, 11am).
