Masala is the best Indian restaurant in downtown San Diego. I have eaten there many times and just thinking about it makes me want to eat there again. The atmosphere is very modern, sleek and dark. The food is kind of pricey, but well worth it. They have a great selection of various meats or vegetarian dishes as well as the best chutneys and naan. It's great for a date or special event, and I can't wait to go back.
