This is a place of peace, hamony, and healing. On weekends I love to attend the church services. I am amazed by what the mediums tell me. They tell me the same things a therapist once told me, except that she had known me for two years, and the mediums pick me out of the audience.
I have had the worst stress possible this year, and even though I have panic attacks just about everywhere else, I never have any problem with anxiety at the Harmony Grove Spirirtualist Association. The peaceful surroundings remind me a bit of Valley Center, where I grew up. I love to sit by the stream, watch the butterflies in the butterfly garden, and browse in the book store.
Celeste, the lady who runs the book store is precious. I found out that the store is charged for acceptng debit cards, so I offered to come back with cash to buy a book. She said, "The question isn't will it cost more, the question is do you need the book today?" She picked up a crystal hanging on a chain from a rack, and while holding her hand still, the crystal started to move in several directions. After a couple of minutes, she got her answer. She hung the crystal back on the rack and took my debit card.
Along with an hour in the healing temple, the experience is priceless! I recently had a harrowing medical procedure that I got through by finding my center and separating my spirit from my body. I never would have thought to do it if I hadn't been studying Spiritualism. I am most grateful to those who so lovingly share their resources and time.
