The pride of the place is the desserts, from the ube halea (purple yam custard) and maja blanca (coconut-corn combo) to the sapin sapin (multicolored layer cake) and fried sweet saba banana on a skewer. Inexpensive.

We were invited to a surprise party in LA. So we ordered days before and paid in full for 100 turon (banana fritters) for pick up at 10am. All we needed to do was stop by pick up the order and be on our way. Should have taken 5 minutes at the most. We got there around 10:15 am. They didn't have anything ready. In fact they didn't even start frying them until we were standing asking for the order!!!!
BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! Don't order from here, they are NOT RELIABLE.
It took us an hour of waiting standing there before we got our order. Obviously we were very late for the surprise party and were not able to get there before the birthday girl did.
We are definitely not going to ever order from this place again. NOT RECOMMENDED AT ALL!!
