Dr. Dady was the last effective superintendent Calexico had, and who left the district solvent. Since then we have been 'blessed' with poor leadership and school boards. Grosebeck, Alvarez, and Luna have led us down the path to ruin. Fragale is not far behind. Calexico has been the laughing stock of the Imperial Valley, and sadly continues in that capacity. The good ol' boys reign, and now we are blessed with GCR and a board with blinders. The phrase, "Only in Calexico" still applies. What a shame that we are still rolling down that road. Calexico's students have proven that they can compete successfully within the state because of the teachers that give their all for the district.
