I think we need to sync the work of undergrounding utilities with the repairing of our roads. They’re going to have to rip them all up to do the utility work anyway (like they just did for the sewer work) and then they have to go back and repair the streets anyway. Stop wasting money by doing the same job a gazillion times, and use it to fast track the undergrounding project instead.

I was going to say roads, but damn, affordable housing takes the cake. Prices go up wages don’t. Secondly we need to think about the drought we are in. Desalination might work if our water is not too polluted already. And public transit needs a lot of improvement too.
