Two men were charged in indictments unsealed this week with hacking into computer servers of a major U.S. mortgage broker to steal personal information and siphon $100,000 in funds from the accounts.

They used the stolen information to impersonate the customers, open lines of credit in their names, and steal assets.

Jason Ray Bailey of Chula Vista and Victor Alejandro Fernandez of Mammoth Lakes are charged with computer hacking and conspiracy to commit wire fraud.
