Pair accused in doggie-door-burglary are due in court today
Eva Knott 9:19 a.m., May 22
I found out April works at the Humane Society with another member of the Scorpions. We talked a little about that.
I was told that two women on the team were celebrating birthdays.
I overheard one lady say, "I'm going to Vietnam, Thailand, and a few other places I can't pronounce."
I asked the players if their season was over and one of them said, "Our team might not continue. There might not be enough funds."
I asked if the owner of the Scorpions owns any other sports teams. Someone said, "No. She owns a dog-sitting business."
There were a couple of petite girls in the corner snuggling up with each other. One had several piercings in her face. When they got up to leave, a tall blond picked them up as they hugged. I couldn't hear why they were leaving so early.
I told April I was going outside to finish my cigar. The waiters told us that we couldn't stand in the aisle, as a lot of the team had food arriving.
While I was outside smoking, I decided to take off early and go see the fights at 4th&B. It was the shortest time I'd ever spent at a party.
