San Diego native Jenn Lindsay, at 26, has released five independently produced albums. Her newest, The Last New York Horn, contains the song "Uncle Sam," concerning George W. Bush's re-election:

"Alone in a room with Uncle Sam / You can guess where he tried to put his hand and I said...it's not the cry of the beat generation / it's your beat-up, bullied, bamboozled nation..."

Lindsay discussed her postelection feelings with AfterEllen.com ("Lesbian and Bisexual Women In Entertainment and the Media...not affiliated with Ellen Degeneres"). "Truthfully, I feel like I have a big turd in my heart. And I feel like it's important that we give ourselves plenty of space to feel angry and disillusioned. The morning after the election, I didn't want to get out of my bed."

Lindsay is currently attending graduate school at the Yale School of Drama.
