The song that did in Nikko Smith on American Idol last Wednesday night was "One Heart, One Hand" from the musical West Side Story.

"The first part of the song was out of tune," said American Idol judge Simon Cowell.

Smith is the son of ex--San Diego Padres player and Baseball Hall of Fame inductee Ozzie Smith.
