For years, Baby Rock has dominated Tijuana nightlife. But now Tangaloo is giving it stiff competition. Francisco Gatica, the owner of Tangaloo, has turned a former skating rink into a club filled with lights, music, and beautiful people. Patrons sit at reserved tables to people-watch and admire the extravagant light show. On Fridays, the atmosphere is geared to adults 25 and up with music from the '70s, '80s, and '90s. On Saturdays the area's best DJs present a sound mix that coaxes even the most reluctant to the dance floor. The doors open at 9 p.m., you must dress to impress, and be prepared for a long night -- the party doesn't stop until the wee hours of the morning.
