These guys have cooked breakfast steaks since 1966 in this bricky, woody, clubby, business-convention-tourist kind of place for very faithful customers. The breakfast menu runs from healthy (hot oatmeal with raisins, dates, sunflower seeds, almonds, pineapple, and coconut) to the not-so-healthy corn fritters and spiced apple crêpes with whipped cream and pecans. But no. You came here for one thing: the signature Adam's steak and eggs breakfast. The steak is usually a high-walled chunk of meat almost as thick as it is round. It comes with two eggs, potatoes or grits, and toast or tortillas.
