Documentary about married artists Ushio and Noriko Shinohara. 2013.
This is a "must see"! I had the good fortune to see this wacky and heartwarming documentary at the Sundance Film Festival earlier this year. When the two artists were interviewed, Ushio was asked if there was anything unexpected or surprising when he saw the film. He said, "I gave up all my privacy. The camera men were with us almost every day for five years. I thought the film was supposed to be about my art, but it turned out to be sort of a love story". And that it did! I will be at the Ken to see it again.
