Job Openings at the Reader
Before you send us your resume, please be aware of the following:
We do not have an internship program; we will not be implementing one.
We rarely (almost never) hire graphic artists or photographers.
Writers are encouraged to get their feet in the door by submitting articles as stringers. Woo us with actual reporting, not a cover letter written to impress your creative-writing teacher.
Sales reps with significant experience selling advertising, both print and online, are encouraged to submit their resumes along with a cover letter.
Due to the high volume of resumes we receive, we will not notify you when your resume arrives and we will not send you a 'sorry' letter. If you hear from us, we're interested. If you do not, we're sorry.
