An intimate outdoor dinner, guided tour, and discussion. Featured speaker Troy Johnson is an author, food/drink critic at the San Diego Magazine, and TV host for the Food Network. Troy will present on the sustainable food movement, farm-to-table restaurant claims, and the real champions of local farms. Featured restaurant Tender Greens believes there should be a conscious connection between the one who eats and the food source. Executive chefs Jeff Hubbard and Kara Snyder, regional chef Pete Balistreri, and general manager Leanne Ringquist will create a farm-to-table meal showcasing local produce, proteins, and grains.
