California Native Plant Society: Old Town
Old Town Native Garden, Taylor and Congress
Cost: Free
Old Town Landscape Partners in Grime Work Party. We hope that the oaks, sycamores, wild onion, blue-eyed grass, yarrow, white and black sage, fuchsia-flowered gooseberries, deergrass, elderberries, and wild roses will be blooming as they did last year in early March. It is always a good feeling to care for lovely natives by removing the unwanted exotic pest plants that would take water and nutrients from them
The landscape is located at the corner of Taylor and Congress streets. Park for free in the shady Cal. Dept of Transportation parking lot across Taylor. Info: [email protected].
