1pm: “Forensic Genealogy” with Collen Fitzpatrick, PhD.
Fifty years after a plane crashed in Alaska, a frozen human arm and a hand were found in the wreckage. Ten years later a world-class team of forensic specialist made a positive identification of the remains. We will learn how it was done.
2:30pm: “Canine Companions for Independence” with Chelsea Calabria and Laura Dunne.
Assistance-dog instructor Chelsea Calabria will describe what it takes to bring a dog from puppyhood to highly trained assistance animal.
