Dr. Sowell will discuss the importance of tattoo, tapa (decorated bark clothe), and kava ceremonies in contemporary Samoan cultural life.
2:30 pm: “Samoan Culture Through Dance and Music” with Kiki Sotoa Solia, president, Samoan Community.
Join Kiki Sotao Solia and friends to learn about the importance of dance and music in the Samoan culture.
