Robo Expo
This family-friendly event will inspire children and families to become innovators in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM).
“Russell” the 17 ft. tall Electric Giraffe is scheduled to greet visitors as they enter. 3R’s Robotics, one of last year’s most popular exhibits, will return with life-sized robotics and learning challenges for every age.
Visitors will meet professionals from SeaBotix and interact with robots from SPAWAR and San Diego Fire and Rescue. Several non-profit technical and engineering schools will be on hand to talk about opportunities and instruction, along with students and their creations.
Robo Expo is free and open to the public with advance registration. The event is coordinated by San Diego State University’s Exploring STEM Careers Initiative and the San Diego Science Alliance.
