As the dust settles on the financial crisis of 2007–2009, the accumulated evidence has revealed a number of new insights into our financial system and its impact on the economy. Some things we simply had wrong, others were unclear, and still others were important topics that had mostly escaped notice This talk surveys ten topics where there seems to be a new consensus among economists and financial observers.
