Friends of San Diego Architecture will hold its final presentation of "Part 2: Inviting the World to San Diego: The Birth of the Panama-California Exposition."
Michael Stepner, professor at NewSchool, will lead a panel discussing "Centennial Reflections: 1915-2015."
Panelists are James Hubbell, Mike Kelly, and Vicki Estrada, who all gave previous lectures on the Exposition of 1915. Join in the discussion of what role the exposition played in San Diego and Balboa Park’s growth and what steps we need to take to protect and preserve the park’s future and the future of the city.
Our next FSDA lecture will be September 20, when we will continue our Panama-California Exposition Centennial Lecture series.
