Watch two 45-minute documentary films about a remote area of the Himalayas where Milarepa, the Buddhist teacher, yogi, and poet, lived in the 11th Century.
The first film, Kyimonlung, is a sacred Buddhist pilgrimage circuit around Tsum valley (pronounced chum) in the Gorkha district in central Nepal.
Mani is a new film that looks at the benefits and hazards of bringing a road into the eastern part of the Tsum valley.
Hosting the event are Brian Hofstetter, the producer of Kyimonlung, guest film-maker Sonam Lama from the Tsum valley, and Leucadia resident and film-maker Ron Ranson.
Proceeds will go to raise maintenance funds for the Buddhist monastery at Serang Gompa and for historical restoration.
